Adventure Dynamics runs this trip and provides equipment and all the logistics. As organiser we are very well acquainted with the conditions and needs for such a trip. In some cases we use other highly qualified guides who have tons of experience with regard to arctic conditions, winter training, skiing, survival, medics and so on. Includes: Trekking permits and all necessary government fees and charges for Nepal. Lukla return flights. Hotel accommodation in Kathmandu for 3 nights night’s (bed and breakfast 2 star). Accommodation in Tea Houses along the way. All transportation and communal equipment. All meals while trekking. Organisational expenses. All trek meals, You are accompanied by an experienced Adventure Dynamics Sherpa guide for the entire trip for safety, advice, instruction and guidance.
Excludes: International Airfare. Domestic and international flight departure taxes approximately $40. Nepalese visa, medical and evacuation insurance, personal equipment, items of personal nature, spending money, health requirements, lunch and dinner restaurant meals in Kathmandu. Hotels and meals due to unexpected delays and anything outside itinerary, airline extra baggage payments.

BASE CAMP DIRECT | TEA HOUSE ACCOMMODATION
Day 1: Fly Johannesburg to Kathmandu
Day 2: Arrive Kathmandu
Day 3: Fly Kathmandu to Lukla (30min flight). Trek to Phakding. (3 hours)
Day 4: Trek to Namche Bazaar. (6 hours)
Day 5: Acclimatization day. Optional hikes around Namche or up to Khumjung.
Day 6: Trek to Deboche – vist Thengboche Monastery. (8 hours)
Day 7: Trek to Pheriche. (6 hours)
Day 8: Trek to Lobuche. (8 hours)
Day 9: Trek up the Khumbu Glacier to Everest Base Camp. Overnight at Gorakshep. (8 hours)
Day 10: Morning trek to Kala Patthar Everest View Point. Afternoon trek to Louche. (6 hours)
Day 11: Morning trek to Dingboche. (4 hours)
Day 12: Trek to Namche – big hiking day! (8 hours)
Day 13: Early breakfast, trek to Lukla – overnight. (6 hours)
Day 14: Flight back to KTM early morning ( 30min flight). Overnight Hotel at B&B
Day 15: Depart Kathmandu.
GOKYO LAKE CIRCUIT | TEA HOUSE ACCOMMODATION
Kathmandu – Gokyo Lakes – Everest Base Camp
Day 1: Depart for Kathmandu
Day 2: Arrive in Kathmandu and prepare for trek
Day 3: Fly Kathmandu to Lukla (2,840m/9,317ft). Fly to Lukla, we walk to Phakding in the afternoon and camp near Phakding for the night. (6km)
Day 4: Trek to the town of Namche Bazaar (3,400m/11,155ft), the main administrative and trading centre for the Khumbu region. (10km)
Day 5: Acclimatisation in Namche Bazaar and Khumjung (3,790m/12,431ft) (5km return)
Day 6: Dole (4,040m/13,251ft). We pass the village of Khumjung and then head towards the Dudh Kosi, leaving the main route through to Phortse and Pangboche, and instead we turn north towards Tokyo. (6km)
Day 7: Machermo (4,480m/14,246ft). This is a short day due to the need to maintain a safe rate of ascent. Gokyo appears to be within easy reach but a night at Machermo is essential. (5km)
Day 8: We pass the first of the Tokyo Lakes (4,750m/15,580ft) and camp by the main lake. There are excellent views of Cho Oyu ahead, with Taweche and Cholatse dominating the opposite side of the valley. (7km)
Day 9: It is well worth the effort to make the 3-hour ascent to the summit of Tokyo Ri (5,483m/17,984ft), a small hill which rises immediately to the north of the lake. (5km return)
Day 10: Zongla – Cross Chola Pass (5,420m/16,531ft). The trail crosses the ice and moraine of the Ngozumpa Glacier to Dragnag. After lunch, there is a steep and demanding climb across loose scree to the rock caves at Chyugima. We climb to the top of the Cho La pass (5,420m/17,773ft) before descending down to the tiny settlement of Zongla. (10km)
Day 11: We traverse around Lobule Peak (4,940m/16,207ft), and start heading into the upper Khumbu valley. After a steep ascent, we gain the main Everest trail and the village of Lobuje. (8km)
Day 12: Trek to Everest base camp (5,300m/17384ft). The trail now leads on to the Khumbu Glacier and we eventually reach base camp near the foot of the Khumbu Icefall. 10km We spend a couple of hours at base camp to rest and interact with the other teams on the mountain. You will spend the night at Gorak Shep Village.
Day 13: We retrace our steps to Dingboche (4243m/13917ft), and keep going down the Khumbu valley and continue to Dingboche. (20km)
Day 14: Following the main Everest trail down the beautifully scenic valley, we pass through Pangboche and then climb to the famous monastery at Thyangboche. (12km)
Day 15: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,400m/11,155ft). A steep descent leads through bird filled rhododendron bushes and fir trees to the Dudh Kosi River, we climb up the opposite side of the valley to reach Namche Bazaar where we can relax and enjoy the bustling town. (8km)
Day 16: A steep descent leads to another suspension bridge crossing the Dudh Kosi river. We cross the river twice more before a rising traverse up the hill-side, past numerous tea-houses to Lukla (2,840m/9,317ft). (16km)
Day 17: Fly Lukla to Kathmandu, we catch an early morning flight back to Kathmandu where we will be met at the airport and taken to our hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 18: Depart Kathmandu.
